#MomLife

Hello crafty friends! Time for my 4th Design Team assignment over at the Scrapy Land challenge blog. They do biweekly challenges, and the theme is always ANYTHING GOES using any brand of die that Scrapy Land sells. There are TWO WINNERS for each challenge. One will be a random winner and the other is chosen by the Design Team. Each winner will receive a generous $10 gift certificate to Scrapy Land.

I used a fun die from the Lawn Fawn Selfie Frame set to create today's layout of me and my 2 kiddos from Mother's Day 2015. Not sure how I missed scrapping this layout, but I was grateful to see the pictures pop up in my social media memories. I layerd my photos over a couple strips of scrap pattern paper in my stash, and then added the frames on either side of the photo. I also did one of my "go-to" techniques anytime I add a frame or tag and wrapped a little twine around the frame for some added texture.

I hope you'll stop by the Scrapy Land challange blog to see what the rest of the DT have come up with, and take part in the challenge too! You have until April 30th to upload your entry for a chance to win a $10 gift certificate. Thanks for stopping by! =) T

Fresh Start

Hello SOS friends! Tiffany here with my take on the Saturday Morning Cartoons Sketch challenge for May at Scrap Our Stash.

So much fun to play with all the colors of the rainbow! I had picks of my daughter and her friend at our Town-Wide Cleanup wearing BRIGHT GREEN shirts, so they were perfect for this bright challenge! I went to my stash of nature-themed papers, and found this pretty tree paper that is probably supposed to be for xmas, but the girls are in the woods so why not! I roughly scibbled circles on 2 scraps of bright green and blue paper, and tucked them behind the photos. I had a gradiated rainbow scrap that I used behind my title and a thin strip on the top and bottom of the layout.
Thanks for stopping by, and remember you have You have until May 29th, 11:59 PM (PSTto upload your layout to Scrap Our Stash for a chance to win this month's prize! =) Tiffany

Hangin' With My Peeps

Hello crafty friends! Time for my 2nd Design Team assignment over at the Scrapy Land challenge blog.

I incorporated the  Scribble Circle die from Paper Rose into today's layout of my daughter shopping for Easter treats at our favorite local candy store. I love purchasing universal dies that I can incorporate into the backgrounds of all types of projects. Wouldn't this die be great as coffee stains on a Starbucks layout? Watch for that in a future layout! I cut 2 of the scribble circles out, tucked one behind the top right of my photo, and trimmed the 2nd in half. I tucked half behind the bottom of the photo, and the remaining piece along the bottom of the layout.  I also stamped a row of sweet little eggs from the Lawn Fawn Simply Celebrate Spring stamp set and added that to the bottom cluster.

I hope you'll stop by the Scrapy Land challenge blog to see what the rest of the DT have come up with, and take part in the challenge too! You have until April 30th to upload your entry for a chance to win a $10 gift certificate. Thanks for stopping by! =) T
