Love using sketches as a jump start for my scrapping! Here's this week's sketch challenge from Sketchy Thursdays and below that is my "Summer School" layout as interpretation of the sketch.
Sketches are a great way to break through that "scrappers block", but don't feel like you have to follow every detail exactly. You can see I sort of tweaked it a bit. Their sketch called for 2 horizontal pics, but I was working with was 2 verticals. To accomodate my photos I simply flipped the sketch on its side. I also pulled the scallop in and pushed the title to the outside edge. Next time your hung up on how to get started, why not start with a sketch? =)T
