Oooh- it's only 2 days away, my favorite day of the entire year...Halloween!! I have been crafting like crazy this season, cards, layouts, and lots of home dec items. Have 2 projects to share with you today, first up is my trick-or-treat banner hanging on my mantle.
I rolled a vintage ruler stamping wheel in rust ink across 5x7 pieces of canvas, handpainted my fun letters in black and then added glitter for a bit of sparkle. What do you think? I'm adding this not-so-spooky banner to my etsy shop if you'd like one of your own!
Next up is a quick litte witch card for my Design Team post at 2 Sisters. The challenge this week is to create a project with Black, Orange, Purple and Lime Green. We used sweet little halloween images from The Crafting Boutique, here's my card:
Challenges:
-2 Sisters black, orange, purple and lime green
-Crafty Catz halloween
-Daring Cardmakers use felt
-Lily Pad texture
-Totally Papercrafts glitter
-Paper Play witches
Hope you have a fabulously spooooky weekend! =) T

ReplyDeleteQuite a nice post on Halloween weekend. I truly enjoy such events and usually host DIY parties. At my favorite garden event space Chicago I too hosted a family Halloween bash and made DIY masks too for everyone. From food to décor everything turned out to be just awesome.
