There's a new theme up at
Paper Issues, "Thankful for Fall". A few weeks ago we had an absolutely gorgeous warm fall day, and my niece and I spent the afernoon raking leaves. Well, I was raking, she was jumping! Snapped a few great pictures and created a "Fabulous Fall" layout to remember the day:
This was one of those ridiculously quick pages to put together, don't you love those? Started with this gorgous pattern paper from Close to my Heart- I trimmed a 3" strip from the center and flipped it over and taped it in place to reveal the orange pattern on the reverse. I added a 1/2" strip of blue that was also trimmed from the same piece of paper- it's the flip side of the barcode, cool huh? The I just lined up my photos along the blue stip, leaving my focal photo slightly larger and matting it in a scrap of pale orange to help the photo stand out. Added 3 brads, a tab for the date, stamped "Fabulous" and covered it with glitter, and wrote in "fall". Simple layout done in under 20 minutes!
